MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Like in any other Christmas, I wish that the year to come is full of blessings and happiness for my family, friends and for everyone else, specially for the people who are in need and who don’t have the same luck that I do.

Christmas is a time where every family gathers together to celebrate Jesus’ birthday… to celebrate our Savior who came to save us and who came to teach every single human the values in life that a lot of the times are forgotten…

It’s hard to be away from my family (they live in Brazil) on this day… it’s really hard. But I get the strength I need when I look at my daughter and I see her smiling and saying she loves me; when I see I found the man that God chose for me and with who I want to share my life with. This is my “main” family now and I will be always thankful to God for having them.

I wish sadness, sickness, and everything that my God did not intend to make a part of the world He created would go away in this year to come… but unfortunately it’s not that easy.

I can only hope that people in general can stop for a second in this busy world and realize they are so so lucky! They are lucky to be able to see all the amazing things God created, they are lucky to be able to hear the voice of their loved ones, they are lucky to be able to walk and have strength to make a living, they are lucky to be able to touch the ones who they love…. And when all of those things sometimes don’t seem to be enough for us, or even when someone is not so lucky to have all of those things, God still raises up someone to help his children through their journey.

My point is… don’t look down on what you already have. Sometimes it seems nothing is enough and we may feel “unhappy”. Have you stopped to think about how LUCKY we are? How many people would LOVE to be in our place? Let’s thank God for every single thing we are capable to do.. and let’s praise Him for not giving up on us… ever.

Have a Merry Christmas.    :)

and let’s not forget to be ingenuous as a child on this Christmas…
